stc's sustainability governance framework embeds sustainability across the organization through clearly defined roles, responsibilities and escalation mechanisms at Board, executive and management levels. Oversight of sustainability strategy is approved by the Board, ensuring alignment with the stc group's strategic priorities, risk appetite and regulatory obligations.

These Champions, supported by their teams, go beyond their regular responsibilities to enable ongoing improvements in sustainability within their areas.

Engagement
Champions connect staff with sustainability goals to boost performance and teamwork. The Champions are nominated by their chief executives according to certain criteria and are celebrated annually during our Champions Recognition Ceremony.
Awareness
The goal is to help employees grasp sustainability concepts, understand their significance at stc and incorporate sustainable practices into daily tasks.
Performance
Champions contribute to developing local sustainability action plans that help stc respond to public feedback while driving progress toward strategic targets.
Reporting
Champions support the accurate collection and management of sustainability data, ensuring transparency and consistency for internal use and external disclosures in the annual sustainability report.
