stc has made significant commitments towards developing local content and contributing to increasing the GDP in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Here are the highlights of the journey:

    • support the employment of Saudi nationals to increase the local workforce in ICT sector.
    • support the local manufacturers and ICT industry localization ( e.g. Fiber Optics)
    • consider the local content as an essential part of stc’s strategy.

    • launch Rawafed and its strategic pillars to develop the local content within the group.
    • cooperate with ICT industry leaders and financing agencies (e.g. SIDF) through signing collaborative agreements.
    • launch the partnership with Local Content and Government Procurement Authority (LCGPA) and establish the Local Content Coordination Leadership Council with the participation of stc as a representative of ICT sector.
